Why eaiou does not penalize AI use
AI involvement is an empirical fact of how research is increasingly conducted. Requiring disclosure but penalizing it incentivizes concealment, which is worse than the thing being concealed. eaiou treats AI disclosure as a methodological statement — the same way a paper discloses its statistical software, its data sources, or its funding. The goal is accurate record, not editorial judgment.
